Retelling the Classics
Here's a collection of alternate versions of stories by Homer. I've often thought it would be fun to do one of these with the club. And this list is hardly exhaustive: there's also An Illiad by Alessandro Baricco. And not Homeric, but a retelling of three mythical tales, John Barth's Chimera.
